Rules 

Payment Schedule, Method, + Deposit

An initial non-refundable deposit of $100 and a signed agreement must be secured prior to any services being performed at Oak + Ivy LLC. The remaining balance of the rental fee is due 1 month (30 days) prior to the event date. Forms of payment include: cash, check, CC. Please make checks payable to: Oak + Ivy LLC

Liability

It is understood that the venue is only liable for services completed and provided by the venue and cannot be held liable for the services of other contracted vendors. It is understood that in no event shall the venue or the owner be liable for consequential damages of any kind while on the property at any time.

Prohibited Items

a. illegal drugs

b. firearms

c. flammable materials or fireworks

d. illegal gambling

e. fire pits or grills (gas nor charcoal)

f. special effects devices, smoke generators, or pyrotechnics (unless previously approved by the venue owner)

 

Service animals and pets are allowed on the property upon approval. No aggressive breeds and all pets must be kept on a leash.

Children

Children must be supervised at all times. The venue is not responsible for any accidents that arise inside or outside the facility.

 

Damage or Loss of Accessories

Client agrees to exercise all due care in caring for, and preserving the property of Oak + Ivy LLC. Client, including client's decorator, shall not use duct tape, tacks, nails, or any other materials that will damage the walls, ceilings, or floors. Glitter, silly string, sparkling confetti and other non biodegradable material are not allowed. No open flame; all candles must be enclosed in glass vase. Client is responsible for ladders or lifts needed for decorating unless other arrangements have been made. Any decor previously supplied by the venue are not to be removed. Clients shall remain responsible for all loss or damage to rentals, up to and including actual replacement value for each missing or damaged item per cost, including priority shipping and installation costs. Smoking or vaping is not permitted in or near any building. Persons are allowed to smoke in the parking lot. 

 

Alcohol

Outside alcohol is allowed to be brought into the venue but will no be provided by Oak + Ivy LLC. No persons under the age of 21 will be served alcohol. Shots are not allowed. Oak + Ivy LLC reserves the right to remove any persons from the premises if, in the sole opinion of the venue owner or representative, anyone appears to be intoxicated or is acting unruly or presents a danger to themselves or others. If the disorderly conduct is not resolved, the venue has the right to shut the event down immediately (second offense) and will not be held responsible for a refund. The client assumes all responsibility for the acts and conduct of all persons on site during their event. 

 

Clean Up

The client and contracted vendors are responsible for set up and take down of their own decorations and equipment. The client also acknowledges that all set up and clean up times are included in the contracted rental time frames. The venue will set up tables, chairs, and linens as per the clients agreed upon request. All property remaining on site after the event will be removed by the venue owner and held for 48 hours. If not claimed, the venue has the right to dispose. The venue owner is not responsible for any items left behind.

Cancellation Policy

If the event is cancelled at any time prior to 30 days out, the $100 initial deposit is non refundable. If the event is cancelled 30 days or less out from the event date, 50 percent (50%) of remaining total is due. If the event is postponed, services contracted can be applied to a new date within 30 days if available (refer to Postponement Policy).

Overtime

Additional unplanned and/or un-contracted services (such as, but not limited to, full redo of design, day of event extension of time, services outside of scope of agreement, management of non day of event activities, etc) are considered overtime and will be billed with prior notification and consent at the rate of $50 per hour.

Are Pets allowed?

No pets are not allowed in the venue at this time.

Service animals are permitted in accordance with all applicable laws.
